Lt Troh, Canby Police; and Marlene Elmore, Canby Kiwanis were our guest speakers at our 24 January meeting. They were there to explain the Bicycle Rodeo as it is run in Canby. Basically it is a Canby Police Project, but they have several organizations that give them support. The following organizations in Canby give them support: Canby Kiwanis, Canby Key Club, Canby Rotary, VFW, Bike Shop, Canby Schools, Postal Annex, police volunteers and others. Their biggest emphasis was the support of the community and advertisement. Especially advertisement, with out advertisement through the schools and the Newspaper well in advance, nothing would happen. Our club & Key Club are willing partners of the any efforts that the Clackamas County Sheriff wants to do in this area. Both Marlene Elmore & Lt. Troh said they would be glad to share their experiences for Wilsonville Bike Rodeo. Next Page
