Patrick Duke, Director of the Library and the Youth Services Librarian, Keren Joshi of the Children's Program
told us about the children's program at the Wilsonville Public Library. They
get thousands of visits from the children during the year. One of the programs
we found very interesting that the readers to young children act out the parts
of the characters in the story as they read. They also try to have several copies
of the books they are reading from, so the children can take them home and read it for
themselves. They have programs for older children also. Another interesting program
they have is for teenagers, the teenagers come in and sort of design the program
they want.
Barbie Liddle Wilsonville Kiwanis Treasurer presents Patrick Duke a check for $250.00
for the Children's program at the library.
